The case these came in was huge! There are 32 monkey-nut shaped cookies in here. Each cookie is filled with peanut butter, and the question they ask on the front is: got milk? I haven’t, and let’s hope it takes nothing away from the experience.
These look pretty good, they’re made from Planters peanuts, which means nothing to me but will probably mean something to my American readers, whether it’s a good or bad thing I don’t know, but I love the look of the archetypal British peanut on the front, with his top hat and cane. Opening the pack reveals a strong, peanut butter smell, it’s a good smell, really good in fact.
The taste is awesome as well, I was expecting the saliva to be drained from my mouth, and for the peanut butter to be a little rotten, but no, these taste better than they smell. And they’re so more-ish, now granted I was hungry when I ate these, but I found myself eating 8 of these cookies before I was full up, and realised I’d had 4 servings! And at 130 calories per serving, it quickly adds up.
These are a little quirky, as mentioned they’re shaped like monkey-nuts, and they don’t skimp on the peanut butter either, which is a great thing. They’re not nearly as dry as I expected them to be, and to sum up I recommend these to anyone who likes peanut butter, there’s a hell of a lot of cookies in this pack, and they’re absolutely delicious.
